Ancestral Countries + Classification

What are you usually classified as, and where did your recent ancestors (within the past 4 generations) come from?

I'm usually classified as some form of Nordid (the specific type varies depending on the person supplying the opinion).
Some of my recent ancestry is still unknown due to a lack of records, so some of my recent ancestral roots might be undiscovered. So far, my recent ancestors come from:

- Canada
- Croatia
- England
- France
- Ireland
- Norway
- (Former) Prussia (the modern-day country is still unknown, but based on DNA matches and my research so far, it was probably in Germany near the border of Poland)
- Scotland
- US

The last 4 generations are from Serbia, a little more, Montenegro and Old Herzegovina.

Ah, bit useless for me. Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Latvian and a bissel Hungarian technically, though obviously all Jewish. Anyway, seemed to be almost unanimous agreement that I was Alpine-Med or more specifically Alpine-Pontid last I asked.

Most classify me as mostly East Nordid, Borreby and Baltid but a variety of opinions.

This seems to be a good thread. I'm usually classified as Med (Pontid) + Turanid . Which makes sense, according to the majority of DNA tests I have ancestry from Southeast and Central-East Europe, plus a little bit from West Asia and East Asia.

As far as I know, all of my ancestors came from todays Hungary and Romania (in the past, the Austro-Hungarian Empire). By ethnicity they were Hungarians. Some Slav/Romanian(Vlach) is also possible but I currently have little evidence of this, only surnames.

In real life people usually guess me to be from East/Southeast Europe, but usually they can't place me in a country. On Origuess people guess my ancestry to be from the US to China but I don't think this is relevant here.

Currently I only know the DNA results of a relative of mine (he's from Hungary, the East-Alföld region), he has ancestry from West Europe (Germany and the Netherlands), East Europe (+Balkans) and Central Asia according to Myheritage.

On paper Irish, English, and German with perhaps some Scottish. My classification is North-Atlantid common in the Wales, West Scotland, and midlands England.

For comparison to Kaspias (my results) Interesting you get roughly the same amount of Bashkir as how Turkic you are. And it's the same in my case with the Nogai.

Within the last 4 generations, I have ancestors born in

- Madagascar
- Spain

- India (several parts)

- Mauritius
- Possibly the UK

That's all from knowledge. From testing, i've also figured I likely have more distant ancestors ancestors born in Italy, Vietnam, the Malay archipelago, Western Asia/The Arabian peninsula and mainland Africa.

I've literally never been classified before. It would be interesting to see if someone could throw out a guess, even a far fetched one.

I got most commonly classified as : N.Atlantid + Dinarid, Atlantid + Dinarid, Atlantid + Keltic-Nordid, darker Kelto-Nordid (pigmentation), dark haired Norid. Sometimes people give to me a touch of CM too.

My ancestry : half French (Alpine French including some aostan and some Swiss French I believe) / half Southern Italian (Apulia, Northern Calabria), I’ve very likely some recent/distant Greek, and maybe german (not impossible) in my father side.

My phenotype makes sense, Dinarid influence is present on both families as well as Western types.
