I am 44 years old, I am 1.78 m tall, and my weight is around 67 kg (maybe less just now).
My parents are 76 and 80, and thay arrived two days ago from a little car trip with 2 friends, justo now I talk with my father (80 years old) and told me he has been talking with his uncle.
The second wife of my paternal grandfather is still alive(92 years old), and lives alone in her house (assisted by a hired woman and visited by his daughter).
The elder brother of my mother(88 years old and smoker) was one of the people from this village that pass Covid-19 at the beggining of the epidemic, the elder sister of my mother (92-3? years old),
voluntarily entered a nursing home last year.
Except for the early death of my paternal grandmother, in the 1950s , because at that time cancer treatment was not very effective, my remaining grandparents they all died with more than 80 years(83-87-91 and the second wife of my paternal grandparent is still alive with 92-3 yo)
I guess this is a consequence of many cultural factors, I don't think it's genetic, at least, not entirely genetic.

I enjoy late dinners aswell, especially now in the summer.
Infact, I just finished preparing my meal this moment.
Yum.

People seem to forget that part of the reason people eat late in Spain is because they are in the wrong timezone

In summer, there is no fixed time for dinner.
At home, at least, it depends on many things when we have dinner, during the rest of the year, I suppose that the schedules are kept more fixed, because you have to adapt them to work routines, and because there are fewer daylight hours.
Although in my case, because my work schedules, generally depend on me, I don't have a defined routine. Except when I am obliged to work on-site, or go to an appointment for a collaboration or a new project.

Not sure, depends on the person/family. Some do it late, other do it earlier. I heard of many who eat dinner at 18 o clock. There's not really standard time of eating dinner.
Eating dinner at 22:00 is definitely very rare though, many people at that time already start to go to bed.

Yeah, sorry for answering in the behalf of Spaniards when I am not one but it is somewhat similar in Portugal with the difference that in Spain people tend to have meals one hour later than we do (in here it is usually between 20:00-21:00).
Each person will have a different schedule depending on their daily routine but generally speaking it is usually during that time. I can only arrive home usually at 20:00 after work so there's no way I could have dinner earlier anyway. I do understand why some people would find it weird, like I said to me is really odd too when I see tourists (usually from northern europe) having huge meals at 16:00-17:00, that's when I usually have a coffee or my afternoon tea.
