There is no significant similarity between people of Balkans (at least my people Serbs) and people of Caucasus. Maybe Albanians are closer to Caucasus.

    Yes. They are gracile.
And as a group I see few main differences:
    1. Bulgarians and some other Balkanites do have weak chins.
And Circassians do have very strong chins.

    2. Bulgarians, Romanians, Greeks usually have softer features with more pronounces mouth-lips are ( obviously it's the Basal Eurasian thing and I don't know why Caucasians lack it) with some facial fat around mouth even if we are talking about slander narrow-faced types.
So that is why Circassian features look more sharper.

Sure, I wouldn't deny that many Albanians, Bosnians, Montenegrins etc. resemeble North Caucasian features.
And there is opposit situation. Many Armenians (ahd probably some Georgians) resemble Greeks and Bulgarians

I'd say Turkey is a "key".
Anatolian Turks resemble both groups and equal measures. iMO

P.S. It's my clearly subjective opinion and I could be wrong.

I would say that any resemblance is due to Turkish occupation of Balkans or Armenian immigrants in the Balkans.

I think that as a group you can tell them apart but at the same time there's also more similarities than differences. they're just the Western and the Eastern spectrum of the same Black Sea region look and culture
