In the United Kingdom (I do not know Ireland) they practiced something equal or more cruel than bullfighting, they practiced the torture of bears with dogs or something like that, thank goodness they abolished it, but that custom began from the early Middle Ages until the 19th century.

For the record, the celtiberians(tribe) used to do sacrifices with bulls but i don't know how bullfighting evolved from that to what it is now.
Fox hunting is from the refined gentry folk. It is not an indigenous Irish tradition. I find it disgusting and like bullfighting it should be banned for being barbaric. Some traditions no matter their origin should be consigned to history.

You always make a point of how much you dislike British and will denegrate them at every opportunity. Where does this antagonism come from? You haven't had the history with Britain that we Irish have had so I don't understand your extreme attitude? There is some interesting psychology in there.
I have maaaaaany reasons to dislike British and I find very weird that you, as Irish, dont think exactly like me.

I'd say Switzerland should also be on that list. Swiss have a lot of Celtic input.

How strange, it is assumed that in Spain there are current traditions of Celtic origin.
