Don't worry Serbs, we will protect the Orthodox Churches there since you can't

They are historically part of the Ohrid Archbishopric in any case

Original name: Archbishopric of Justiniana Prima and all Bulgaria

Serbian Patriarchate of Peć, 16th and 17th centuries:

Hmm, adds some validity to Serbian claims over parts of what came to be known as Ottoman Macedonia.

Where the maps of Ohrid during Ottoman times?

There was also a period when Greeks and Bulgarians worked together against Serbian domination:
Shortly after the Turkish conquest of Belgrade in 1521 and victory in the Battle of Mohacs in 1526, Serbian Metropolitan Pavle of Smederevo[5] made a series of attempts to restore the Serbian Patriarchate, and for a short time managed to seize the throne of Peć, proclaiming himself to be the new Archbishop of Peć and Serbian Patriarch.[21] By 1541, his movement was crushed by joint forces of the Archbishopric of Ohrid and the Patriarchate of Constantinople.

Petty the Serbian army can't set foot in these places ever again.

Probably not. Though you should thank the Serbs for Pulevski, Misirkov and the many others who came under Belgrade's direct influence and promoted Serbia's policy on Macedonia. Cominterm, communist Yugoslavia, and Fyrom all used and adapted that Serbian propaganda extensively. If not for 19th century Serbia, there would be no modern Macedonian ethnicity.

But I'm sure you already know that.

Yes tell that to the Serbs who bitch here about Macedonization of Southern Serbs.
Incidentally I would also add Greeks to that mix who told us we were the descendants of Alexander to distance us from the Bulgarians, as I'm sure you're aware

Since I was the first one on this forum to talk about the influence of 19th century Greek education, yes I am.
