(2) Stabbing a violent partner, even if (s)he is not actually attacking you at that moment.
(3) Finding your partner in bed with someone else. (The crime de passion is still legally recognised in France).
(4) Protecting yourself or someone else from being mugged or assaulted.
(5) Any other (please state).
