I don't know if someone knows this but Syrian reference in Eurogenes K13 is completely wrong. I've never seen a Syrian getting it as #1 match. These are 3 examples of how Syrians score:

Syrians seem to have the highest west asian out of all levantines. I get syrian as my #1 using my unconverted 23andme kit.

One of them is you, isn't it?
I think 5-6% North European definitely indicates some European ancestry. It just can't be from Persians or Kurds because said groups score the same percentage.

I think what happened is that the "Syrian" reference on there is probably from far western Syria near Lebanon and represents unadmixed Levantines or something like that. Whereas the majority of Syrians are located further east and north and more likely to mesopotamian or Turk/Kurdish shifted.

Interesting, nearly all Syrians are modeled as half Sephardic Jew half Iranian/Kurdish. Syrians are closer to Armenians than what I anticipated.
