Catholics would have the same attitude towards Turks as Protestants. Turul Karom claims Hungarians like Turks a lot and Hungary is a Catholic country.
In 2011 census 37.2% of hungarians identified as catholic... So it's not really a catholic country.

Hungary is a catholic country, most hungarians have been baptized as catholic.

Hungary is not a catholic country.

According to constitution of Hungary("alaptörvény") Hungary has a christian culture, not specifically catholic.

Hungary has siginifant non-catholic minority that shouldn't be overlooked. Your map shows that too.

Example of catholic nation is Poland, where - unlike in Hungary - religious people are 99% catholic.

According to the 2011 census, 39% of Hungarians are Catholic, (37.2% Western Catholic and 1.8% Eastern Catholic) 13.8% are Protestants, (11.6% Calvinist and 2.2% Lutheran), 1.9% have Other religions or denomination, 18.2% have no Religion, and 27.2% refused to answer.[1][2]
So for every 3 catholic you have a protestant. Doesn't sound like a (purely) catholic country to me.

    catholic 62%, no religion 20%, protestant 5%, other christians 8%, judaism 1%, other 2%, undecared 2%:

In either case hungary has a significant non-catholic minority that is not to be overlooked. Hungarian constitution also says Hungary has "christian culture", not catholic. Our prime minister is a calvinist himself.

I don't deny that, but majority of hungarians are catholic.

Highlighting a Protestant minority in Hungary reminds of those Albanians emphasizing the presence of a Catholic minority in their country.
Depending on the context, there is obviously always a "better religion". Like being Catholic in the Balkans meaning an improvement to being Orthodox; or being Protestant in the Central European context being seen as better than being Catholic.
