The BBC should 'hang their heads in shame' for charging licence fee to over-75s

Dennis Reed, Director of Silver Voices is launching a campaign against the BBC's licence fee for the over-75s. Speaking with talkRADIO's Dan Wootton, he said: "If hundreds of thousands of people delay payment by three months, it will have a devastating effect on TV licensing".

Conservative MP Bill Wiggin: "The BBC licence is pretty much a tax, even if it's called a licence fee". Speaking with talkRADIO's Mark Dolan, he added: "The amount paid to Gary Lineker would cover 11,000 licence fees".
