There's a vital class angle, too.

    To quote Wikipedia:
"In regard to average admixture by social class and regions, a genetic study indicated that the genepool of the average residents of Santiago, which is Chile's capital and geographic centre, to be 51% European and 49% Amerindian DNA for the lower class, 70% European and 30% Amerindian DNA for the middle class, and 91% European and 9% Amerindian DNA for the upper class."

Chile is not the most developed South American country neither, and all what is achieving is thanks American, Spanish and other Euro investors.
All thanks to Spanish investors? You really are fucking delusional if you think that. If anything, foreign investors have it quite nice in Chile because the royalty paid for extracting natural resources (copper) is pretty low compared to countries like Australia or Norway. I'd say Chile, Argentina and Uruguay are definitely the most developed countries in South America. In Latin America in general Panama is wealthier but I feel they still have worse healthcare and education than countries in the Southern Cone.

I saw that in Wikipedia about 89% of Chile is white or Mestizo. In detail, it wrote that 55-65% of the population is white and 25-30% is Mestizo. How white is Chile really? Because it seems that Chile is the most developed Latin American country due to the high percentage of whites.
The concept of white depends on the country. I am around 75% European (mostly Northern Spanish) and 25% Indigenous (mostly Mapuche). In Chile I am considered white. Funnily enough, I've found that whilst many Australians consider me white, most Britons do not (if you asked people in the UK about my ethnicity they'd probably say "South America" even though it's not very precise). So even in "similar" countries like Australia and the UK the concept may change.

In addition, colorism is massive in Chile. I've got five Chileans friends who got tested this year, and they got 80%, 85%, 90%, 90% and 95% European. However, I would never consider these results to be representative, as they're all Chilean who used to live in East Santiago and have moved to the UK now. Therefore, obtaining representative results from Chile is hard, as some may overestimate Indigenous ancestry (for example a study carried out in public hospitals in Arica y Parinacota) whilst other may overestimate European ancestry (Chileans tested on 23andMe for example).

That being said, even if you consider everyone who is genetically over 70% European to be white (which is close to the Latin American concept of "white"), this is clearly a minority in Chile, as the average Chilean is about 50 to 55% European with the vast majority of people probably falling within the 40 - 60% range.

1959 economic recovery of Spain was mainly thanks to foreign investment and the boom of tourist industry.
In that time very few notorious international spanish companies even existed

Even Francoist Spain asked credits to Argentina when Peron literally for food supplying while received
millionaire credits from Chase Manhattan Bank.

Don't think for a moment middle class (majority of population) is that european... Both low and middle class have between 45-55% and middle-upper classes around 65-70%

Yeah I agree with this, although by European standards most Chileans would be working class rather than middle class.
