Do pure SSA dominicans still exist?

Curious topic to me,i never saw one
I also never saw a pure SSA brazilian tested,in the last century you could probably find old brazilians that were pure black in significant numbers but they are already dead now

It's extremely rare to find a pure SSA, just as it's extremely rare to find a pure 100% white dominican.

Now there are haitian invaders whom consider themselves "dominican" who were born and raised in RD. But I would never see them as true dominicans...

Highly doubtful. Most New World blacks are somewhere between a mulatto and a reverse quadroon, you can see this on the 23andme subreddit especially with "mulatto" or "quadroon" results where the black parent contributed something like only 30-40 or 15-20% SSA.

These are accurate percentages in DR. in one hand, mulattoe, to pred black (the majority) and on the other hand pred white, quadroon about 25% of the population (as a whole).

The only way to find near pure ones (or even high 80ers SSA) is if they have recent foreign extraction, either Haitian or Anglo/Dutch Caribbean (which are called cocolos).

It's hard for me to consider those as 'dominicans'.. More like legal residents or naturalized citizens, but never true dominicans.
We have blood citizenship, more then paper.

Forgot to add, a handful of aframs also made their way here during the 1820-1840 period, when the ones free among them were either going to the Liberia experiment or answered Boyer's invitation when the island was under Haitian rule in its entirety. These ones are concentrated in Samaná (northeast).

Well.. Those are a totally different story, they've been in DR for the longest, adapted to the culture and have mingled with the rest of dominicans for decades, so they're the exception to the rule.
Some even came from the Bahamas (I heard) and settled in the coastal areas of the Cibao all the way to the interior.

Probably none. But like 45% of Dominicans look pure black or like africn-americans a good example is silvernigga
