Cheap whores and weed are what tourists think Dutch culture is specifically north American tourists. The anglosphere is retarded for many reasons but one reason is you think you can make the oldest profession in the world illegal practically and that you can outlaw drugs successfully. The American war on drugs is a complete failure. America and the Scottish have a big heroin problem but not the Dutch in comparison. I would instead go to the Nieuwe and Oude Kerk, Westmarkt, Centraal Station, Rembrandthuis, Hermitagemuseum, Rijksmuseum, Albert Cuyperstraat and some other places that are of interest.
