Which Country Has the Most Attractive People?

In contemporary culture the definition of West can have multiple meanings. Portuguese and Spaniards do consider themselves as Western and the spreaders of the western world beyond seas. Western civilization is also strongly associated with Christianity and Christianity is still the major religion globally due to the Iberian Kingdoms. There was a time when we were the power centres of the Western world so we tend to find it awkward to be disassociated from it. Geographically we are technically southwestern.

Greece is one of the few countries on the eastern side of Europe that is also historically encompassed in the Western world by the way. Most people in Greece do not consider themselves as Western?

I believe that we are more in favor of Samuel Huntington's definition of the West, which includes the Latin American countries.

I believe that we are more in favor of Samuel Huntington's definition of the West, which includes the Latin American countries.

There are so many different concepts regarding who belongs to the West and the East that we usually have to take into account the context (world divisions during the Cold Wars as an example). Samuel Huntington divides the world into different civilizations which include an Orthodox civilization and a Latin American civilization and I find it debatable if such civilizations actually exist or have existed in the past. Regarding the Orthodox and Latin America, I see them as geographical and religious spheres of influence rather than civilizations.

My university degree is in European Studies and in the first year we began by studying the foundations of the Western World with Ancient Greek literature classics as the pillars (hence why I find it difficult to disassociate Hellenism with the West). We also studied Samuel Huntington's Clash of Civilizations but he is regarded as a very controversial author (that might also be because nowadays most universities are run by left-leaning sympathizers).
