Dinaric Tyrolians are as tall as Atlanto Med Swiss (German speaking ones)- no noteable difference. Also both Iberians and Dinarics (and West Alpines)are mostly EEF, despite difference in Ci and pheno.
Imo sexual selection is reason nr. 1 and nutrition nr. 2. Populations which are isolated develop more specific traits.

I wonder are there any statistis of different ethnics:

1.) the average sizes and weights of just born babies (both genders)
2.) sickness frequency of babies (let me say .... first 4 years)?

    ... those might influence.

    Paternal grandfather - 178-180cm
    Paternal grandmother - around 155cm
    Maternal grandfather - 163cm
    Maternal grandmother 160cm
    Father - 176cm
    Mother - 163cm

Me - 185-186cm. I guess it's totally not related to the fact that I had a better diet than all of them growing up

All my male ancestors were not very tall (173-176 cm). I am for example 180 cm. I don't know why I am taller whan my ancestors. I don't belive is because of some diet. My father for example is only 176 cm.

Height does not play an important role, being tall doesn't help you in your everyday lives unless you're healthy, physically strong and robust, young looking, fast, flexible and energetic. I can't understand people making such a big deal about height, it sounds kinda like insecurity and inferiority complex

I am actually shorter than my father. In his youth he was 193cm, now due to old age he is closer to 191cm, I am only 185cm. His father was only 178cm, so I'm the median.

It's the regression toward the mean. Imagine I would have grown to be 15cm taller than my Dad (like my Dad, who was 15cm taller than his father) ... my head would be somewhere in the clouds lol.

Dietary factors can contribute to height, there must be a reason my Dad was so much taller than his parents, although his brother also ate the same food and stopped growing at around my height, so genetics probably play the biggest part in it.

Are these self reported? 1m80+ for Italy is BS, it'd be questionable even for Südtirol.

Germans / Dutch are the only people that stand out in my experience - rest is fake news

Most attractive males, according to the number of responses by females on dating apps, are above 5'10" or 177.8cm.

There are also positive correlations between height and intelligence, looks, and success.

That being said, height is fairly unimportant considering the bigger picture of a human being. But it has some relevance.
