I don't watch often movies and or TV lately but this is a interesting thread

These two Swedish movies by the filmmaker Ruben Östlund come to my mind:


- “The Square” (2017) is a very caustic film towards contemporary art and its inanity, showing also the tough daily life with immigrants and the cowardice of elite white men, as well as their hypocrisy.




- “Play” (2011) is a very good metaphor of our societies, where black children have an unscrupulous, disgusting and revolting behaviour with white children, who don’t react, who let themselves be pushed around, humiliated.




Although Ruben Östlund defends himself against the idea that his movies are reactionary and gladly says how progressive he is, his films display a reactionary mindset (the end of “Play” speaks for itself, for ex.).
