What salary do you get in the FFL?

Durant vos premières années comme légionnaire, jusqu'au grade de caporal inclus (soit 2 à 4 ans), vous êtes habillé, nourri et logé gratuitement.

Salaire net de départ : 1280 € par mois (hors déduction mutuelle).
Congés 45 jours ouvrables/an.
A ces primes s'ajoutent différentes indemnités compensatoires :

entraînements sur le terrain
Missions extérieures
Prime TAP (régiment parachutiste)
etc...

Low paying salary, the best thing you can do is get experience for at least 4 years (could be in a foreign legion but also in your own nations military), after that you can find high paying jobs (private security) with way better salaries .

You have no fatherland but the Legion. It's your community, your family, your only commitment.
Hence the famous motto : 'Legio Patria Nostra'.
This is the Legion's philosophy.
The Legion itself is in French service but you don't have to care.
