Turk is genetically afraid of facing prepared and armed enemy in the battlefield. Thats why they were taking Christian kids for yanichars, because turk is afraid to stand and fight. Their tactics is mongolian, strike and run

They are brave when they face irregulars with toyotas and unarmed civilians & fight only armed groups without proper equipment.

Why do you think Turkey produces unmanned drones? their pilots are afraid to get involved in air battles.

The reason why Egypt is now in Syria they waited so long for erdog.but he didn't come.

Turkey's maritime claims in the Eastern Mediterranean make sense the moment you realize that Crete doesn't count and Cyprus doesn't exist.

Amazing how many Turks imply the island of kastellorizo is the one thing standing between Turkey & its maximalist claims. The map doesnt actually look that different w/out it. To get the full mavi vatan fantasy you have to ignore Crete & Cyprus, which are definitely not rocks

Also I get that the UN Convention for the Law of the Sea doesn't apply to Turkey because Turkey never signed it. I think that's also North Korea's take on the Chemical Weapons Convention.

And I get why Turkey thinks its unfair that an accident of geography deprived them of control of so much of the Mediterranean. But then that was also Russia's longstanding position on the Bosporous.

It’s not the “Greek view” of EEZ it’s international law’s view of EEZ & UNCLOS (United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea) that pirate state & international trouble maker Turkey doesn’t recognize.

EastMed is based on the EEZ as it's described in UNCLOS. UNCLOS is valid for every country in the world, signed or not signed by an individual state. This is the law. You can't make it up as you please.

Greece wants its disputes to be resolved on the basis of the International Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), which favors Greek positions, while Turkey wants to circumvent International Law, – precisely b/c International Law does not favor Turkish claims.

It looks like Turkey sent his navy and research ship to the open sea. Greek navy, Egyptian navy are not in sight. And those will expect the intervention of their Jewish boss Israel to no avail. Jews would not risk themselves for Greeks or Arabs.

Look at a map how many Greek islands are in front of Turkey!!! The answer is thousands!!!

ALL of this Greek Archipelago is a unified whole with the Greek mainland. Turks want us to accept..that Turkey due to its coast line has rights in the middle of the agean..&under Crete. You expect Turkey to control the Seas between Greek Islands and Greek Mainland? This doesn't even make sense.

What if we assume tht those islands were a different independent state of country named XYZ,what would the EEZ be?None?those islands are extension of Greece's inland.

The islands are Greek and inhabited so under international law have EEZ.. which attaches and connects with neighboring islands as an annexation and create a unified whole.

The geographical formation of the Aegean islands is such that it creates a solid presence in this sea, which could hardly be ignored in any demarcation. Mainland Greece essentially extends to the sea with the island complex that surrounds it and creates a single whole, which has nothing to do with the cases of individual islands, which are scattered in a sea.

Between Turkish mainland and Libyan mainland there are Greek islands and their EEZ so there is practically no common borders between TR and LI.

According to the European Union, the agreement "infringes upon the sovereign rights of third States, does not comply with the Law of the Sea and cannot produce any legal consequences for third states".[3]

Units deployed at the borders & in the Greek continental lands received combat ammunition, while ships and submarines of the Greek Navy spread in Sites of strategic importance in the Aegean Sea

These past 2 hours the Turkish ship is waiting outside the border with the seismic cables laid out. If they enter the EEZ, Greece will retaliate. Big powers are now mediating thus the delay.

The Greek Government is LEGALLY OBLIGED to militarily respond per the Greece Constitution. Unlike Turkey, the democratic Government of Greece is bound by the provisions of it's Constitution. This is not a bluff.

I never thought I'd live to see the day, so close I can almost taste it.

O Tengri, give us a worthy opponent.
