the site is very precise with romania, kazakhstan and italy. why wouldn't it be as precise with Belarus? when there is a favorable statistic then it's real, when we don't like it it's not to be trusted. typically eastern mentality. we like to hide the head under the sand and pretend it's all good. that's why nothing changes in any of this countries.

as i said before, even Ceausescu was elected every 4 years with 99.99% of the votes. no one knows how as no one was voting for him. we've all seen how he ended up.

i think every country has it's own problems. you cannot find a perfect society. but...some have more problems then others. democracy is not perfect, it's difficult to change something, it's difficult to move things forward but it's much more preferable than a dictatorship. a dictatorship is dangerous but even if you have a leader that really has a great vision for his country, all that will comes with a high cost on the day-to-day life of common people. i only have one life and i'm not ready to sacrifice it for no one's ambitions.

My take on democracy is simple. I distrust any non-transparent system (that is all existing). They hide the votes and they do it for purpose. No brainer which purpose. They do it throughout the West too, so it's not to be trusted either.

Until the voting is fully transparent you can call all regimes you like: "democracies" and all regimes you dislike: "dictatorships". Propaganda serves well.
