Jose, Pleiadians are a relic from the early era of alien hoaxes, before people understood that aliens aren't just people from other planets. They came from the imagination of hoaxers like Billy Meier and George Adamski in the 1950s. Back then the public wasn't scientifically literate enough to realise that aliens aren't going to be foreign-looking people living on other planets.

George Adamski most likely got the idea of them from 50s science fiction and futurism media which was full of images of beautiful Aryan looking white people in futuristic jump suits while exploring foreign planets. Anybody who believes Nordics are real ETs is fucking retarded.



When these guys were first introduced, they weren't called Pleiadeans, they were called Venusians because George Adamski said they were from Venus. After mainstream science learned that Venus is a toxic, volcanic shithouse the New Agers decided they were actually from the Pleiades star cluster instead.

And there aren't even any planets in the Pleiades star system. They are like the most thoroughly debunked thing ever. They don't exist. This is redpilled on the schizos but I'm not sure if you've seen the sheer complexity around Pleiadian conspiracy theories that are out there right now. Many aren't even aware of how many different theories there are, especially in Latin America for some reason. Maybe it's ancestral visions of de Alvarado or something.

Ufology became a laughing stock on the Internet once people started claiming that aliens were 'Nordic' and shit like that. It started when the government started sending disinfo spin doctors like Hynek into the field to make up stories about swamp gas, and then when the USAF realised it would be even easier to nudge proper wackjobs like Linda Moulton Howe, Phil Schneider and Al Bielek into riding the convention circuit and spreading fucking insane shit that would forever bind the topic in the tabloid territory. Mirage Men/William Cooper/Terence McKenna said plenty on this topic.

The only fairly modern researcher trying to offer some perspective on the topic without going bonkers is Jacques Vallée. In fact, whether statements by witnesses are true or not, the whole project, and ufology at large, is being unfairly maligned and being made a laughing stock by Steven M. Greer and his, at best, questionable assertions and activities.

I personally believe 99% of UFOs can be explained as natural weather phenomena. With proper funding and training, having response teams trained in how to interview witnesses would be a big help to the field. It would also help them in terms of credibility with the less-fringe science community.
