Republicans are just plain stupid global inequality is going to get worse, in the future, due to the merger of biotech and infotech. Unlike , in the past, where the rich needed the poor as labour AI and robots will make vast swathes of humans useless and the grand children of tech tycoons will be a superior separate species with moats, walls, barbed wire fences with poor barbarians outside the gates.
