    Default Post your poems

Does anyone of you ever write poems? Post some of them here.

    Here are three of mine:

    Sleeping, dreaming
    Inhaling the poision
    Seeing the stars
    With eyes closed
The fading light of the moon
The fading sounds of the wind
    Bathing in red leaves
    I drift away
    Into a soft, eternal sleep

    Lost in a green haze
    She returns to me
    My beloved one
    How sweet were the days
    When we kissed
    Summer nights
    Without sleep

    Haunted shores
    Her voice echoes
    Across the sea
    Weeping for he who left
    And became the anchor
    Of his own ship

I breathe ashes of something once I was
Now I know, i'm trapped to the dark side of the moon
    being a every-night eclipse.

There was a time, I celebrated life
When I knew the most beautiful love history.
There was a passion I felt staring
the northern cross. But I no longer feel
the sadness we used to share.

I can't remember the dreams of the dreamer child,
who had a thousand names and faces. I'm blind
to wonders. If only I could hear my own cry.

I chose to be fearless, to be loveless and faithless.
To be dead inside. I feed the emptyness and now it's stays.
The tears for beauty gone forever, and everything turns to black.

There's no hope when you don't have beliefs.
And I fall on this trap of reality: A promise of lonelyness
to the moon of a world with no sea.

    Be a slave of yourself.

Ps: everybody got an emo side !!

    A Nice Booty

    A super nice booty,
might have to go on duty.
The owner could be in a rut,
    maybe doing the chicken strut.
    Listed in the most wanted,
    sexually harrassed and taunted.

    Run baby run,
    it's that are you're done.
    All eyes are watching,
    a hand might be catching.
    Watch where you sit,
    a tack might hit.

    Ouch might be your expression,
    one best booty lesson.
    It's your great seat,
    the nice jiggly meat.
    Sure people stare,
but it's up to you to share.
    5 Stages of Grief:

Denial: The initial stage: "It can't be happening." Maniot is on top of me.
Anger: "Why ME? It's not fair?!" (either referring to God, oneself, or Maniot perceived, rightly or wrongly, as "responsible")
Bargaining: "Just let me stay to post another day Maniot, please."
Depression: "I'm so sad, why are you picking on me Maniot?"
Acceptance: "It's going to be OK." There is always Skadi.

One I wrote some time ago after I cut my arm once again and was pensively looking at my scars and recalling the stories behind them...

    Life's Mapmaking

Thinly puckered, white lines and pink
Road map of life, written in scars
Some faded pale, old, o'ergrown hurt
Some angry red, from recent harm

Memory pricked, by sight of them
    Recalling Deeds, and Misdeeds, too
In shop or field, at school, in home
Signs of doing, telling their tale

On hand or arm, on face or leg
On chest or back, on head or toe
Inside our heart, within our mind
Hurt can occur, leaving its sign

Every cut, bump, burn, bruise or scrape
Leaves its mark on, our skin and soul
In Peace or War, at Work or Play
As we go forth, risk is involved

Stories we have, behind those lines
Of wayward blade, or glass we dropped
Of struggling pet, or clumsy fall
All hurts matter, in final count

    Eventually, most scars fade out
From outer shell, and from within
Some scars run deep, never do go
Lying there like, footnote on page

Story of life, laid out to see
Strange alphabet, each to their own
Every man has his unique set
    Ever growing, with every breath

Thinly puckered, white lines and pink
Road map of life, written in scars
Some faded pale, old, o'ergrown hurt
Some angry red, from recent harm

My blood boils too much, my heart fire stings to the touch
    I suffer in swealtering heat
I'm doomed to carry on this existence

I wish for the chill, for the frozen
    ice
I miss the cool dust the falls to the ground
And when the daughter of the earth goes down
    into her gloomy home
