Geographically, yes I think. But I feel like the term Balkan has more of a geopolitical connotation nowadays.

Genetically speaking all people in the Balkans are related to one another, that is why a DNA test gives you a result of "Greece & the Balkans". The Serbs and Croats and Bosnians etc are mostly Slavicized natives of a similar stock to Greeks. I think Southern Greece and Peloponnese connect more with Italians and Spaniards and Northern Greeks more with the Balkan culture.

That kind of implies that there is a cultural discontinuity between Greeks themselves. I may be wrong but I can't imagine a Greek person from one region feeling "closer" to a non-Greek person from the Balkans or Mediterranean region.

Personally i feel in some matters closer to the balkans and to other matters closer to meds.

No we are not. We are mainly Slavic and different world compared to Greeks, closer to Poles and Ukrainians than to them.

This girl on Instagram was saying that Greece is ia Balkan country and people were agreeing so what do you guys think? Geographically ig it is in the Balkans but culturally I don't consider it a Balkan country, but that could be bc my family's from Peloponnese bc my friend who's from Thessaloniki said she connects more with Balkan countries rather than the Mediterannean so idk

There is no unified Balkan culture. Dalmatia is Med is it gets culturally/climatically/atchitecturally etc and last time I checked it was in SE Europe/Balkans.

Without Greece, there is no Balkan peninsula. They are the end of the peninsula itself.

The better question is where the Balkans start. Is it Slovenia or Croatia? Is Moldova part of it, or excluded.

Balkan peninsula doesn't exist, it was mistake of German 19th century geographer but the name stuck. It's too widely connected to Eurasian landmass to fulfill criteria of a peninsula.
