Even back in the late 90s, I was using Netscape Navigator. When Firefox came out, I used it. Eventually went to Chrome and never looked back.

Internet Explorer only existed for so long because Microsoft insisted it be in every Windows computer.

Edge is ok, but it is too little, too late afaic.

Ironically enough, I am using Ad Blocker Browser on my phone while typing this. Got used to it after seeing so many ads in this forum. I know Loki nipped it in the bud but I still use it out of habit.

Also, little history here. Firefox was created by the same people that created Netscape, and was created after Netscape was bought by AOL.
I like Firefox, but I didn't like their UI all that much really which is why I'm using both Vivaldi and Yandex instead.

But is it as secure as Brave or Firefox ?

I can't really say, but Brave has a built-in feature that disables ad trackers and scripts which Vivaldi doesn't have, but you can download add-ons from Google Chrome extension site(it's a Chromonium browser) to have these features so it's not a problem for me(I'm using PrivacyBadger and NoScript add-ons). I don't know much about Firefox, but I didn't like the UI of the browser.

Snowden himself once recommended using NoScript add-on. And if you want to check on how secure your browser is, check this site out:

For me, my browser is pretty safe besides fingerprinting one which my fingerprint is unique.

Fingerprinting too and I don't unblock sites that don't track. I seem to be extremely strict.

You and me both, rofl. I block all sites regardless on how trusted the site is and so on. Just read on Google's recent fuck up when they were caught selling data of users who use the incognito private window on their Google chrome browser.
