Reassess your Christian faith. It's important. Because it sounds like you are not really in the faith.

2 Corinthians 13:5

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

Im a catholic. And catholic monks sometimes even do zen meditation. I know I did zen meditation in catholic school when I was a teenager. Catholics are a bit different then fundamentalist evangelicals. I think catholics can combine or test other world religions and they are more scientific and philosophical. Catholics dont deny the evolution for example. In fall I will start catholic theology.

Don't worry what men do. Read the Bible. Start from the new testament. Come back and tell me if it's ok to practice zen and 'test' other world religions.

There is nothing particularly Hindu about this. They refer to 'Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine)' and 'chakras' to try to give their wishy-washy New Age woo more legitimacy. That's all.
