Sometimes I wish I believed in god

I've had similar feelings many times in my life

for me It's because there have been many times in the past I have desperately needed a community for support and I was unable to find one, so I had thoughts of joining a church group although I felt too awkward to being non-religious. I also could not get myself to believe, but I could see why some do.
