Well, if we all decided to not eat meat, or at least drastically eat way less and only of animal welfare certificate, this world won't be going to the shit. Fact.

If we wouldn’t eat meat, we would eat bigger quantities of vegetables, and producing them would also destroy the environment.

If you don’t have farming animals, you don’t have animal organic inputs (such as manure) to produce your vegetables. So, you would have the choice between vegetal organic inputs, which would demand extremely big quantities of plants, leading to the destruction of entire ecosystems, and chemical inputs, leading to the erosion, to the impoverishment of the soils.
