Nothing against Mexican and MLS teams at Copa, Brazil and Argentina actually have too many spots and even mid table clubs can get a shot...I would like to see some curious matches like MLS teams playing at Bombonera or Vila Belmiro lol

I believe the continent is too big for a club competition with conmebol and CONCACAF participants under the current format BUT a final 16 or final 8 competition similar to this year Champions League would be possible.

Didn't tigres won the Copa Libertadores a few years ago???

Tigre is an argentine team and they won Copa Sudamericana (our Europe League). Mexicans have never won Libertadores, but they played its final in 2001 and 2010.
