I think this kind of ''moral problems?'' are much bigger with people who lives in big cities, than between us who lives in country sides. Here all knows each others. In cities you might not even know your neighbours. At least they do not ''care'' how you live. No to talking about people you will see on the streets, at bars etc. Cities simply ''offers'' clearly more chances to live like *****.
There were few city girls in my course who really did not feel any ''moral hangovers'' for their last night actions. They someway just skipped those away from their minds as those were yesterday. I bet they had grown for that type of thinking/lifestyle since kids/teenagers.

Another is unequality of societies. Money is spread very uneven between people who lives in that country. Read ''spread'' ... who have that money. No matter the reasons behind (right or wrong, fair or unfair) ... in this particular context ... that makes all much worse.

Lastly as living in Scandinavia ... I see two main points why religion feels pretty badly here.

1.) Science ... what a more people know, the less they feel needs to base their thoughts on religion.
This is long term trend and makes position of religion / church much harder and tighter than for example 200 - 500 years ago.

2.) Societies changes. Today people will get ideas, impulses from many many different sources (we are influenced by many ways). Peoples' thoughts and ideas changes via those. This can be called short term trend. I have evidenced few times the next: Some close to church has said something ''old fashion'' in direct TV discussions and next days lots of people have re-signed from church. Both in Sweden and in Finland. Someway the saddest or ironic part is that those comments have not really even been linked to religion itself (hard core of that; how I see it), but more like how people should live or how equal they are (can women work as a priest) etc.

The latter one (where feminism can be found among of many others) is one where perhaps theorectically could be influenced (offering people only one truth ... like closed society North Korea), but the first one?
