My ancestry is 6/8 spanish (basque mostly), 1/8 italian (sicilian) and 1/8 colonial.
    But it wouldn't be rare...
Indeed at the university I had a classmate with hungarian ancestry, same in the highschool and also a neightbour in my little town called Miklos, his maternal grandpa was hungarian.

I saw a quite long documentary on Hungarian national TV about the various Hungarian communities in South America, and the Argentinian case seemed to be one of the ones which preserved the best. Always I'm amazed how well can still many Hungarians over the Atlantic speak the language of their ancestors, and it's especially difficult in South America, where Spanish is so widespread and almost every other European immigrant adopted it, even the massive Italian community.

If you can share it here it would be great no matter if it is in hungarian.

Carlos Esteban Kohary - Former soccer player (especially in Racing).

Carlos Esteban Kohary, was born on April 23, 1970 in Buenos Aires. Since a very young age he had the dream of playing in the First Division. This left back could fulfill it between the years 1990 and 1992.

Coming from River, where he did 10 years of minor divisions, he came to Racing in a very particular way. In a fifth division game against the Albiceleste club, playing for River, he approached the rival substitute bench and told the technical director: "I want to play there", as soon as the game ended the coach summoned him for a test in Avellaneda.

Promoted to the first division by Juan Carlos Oleniak and Roberto Perfumo, he had the opportunity to play 16 games in the first. Although he did not shout a goal, he left a good memory in the fans. Those with more memory mark him as a left-back with good technique, but one who was always covered by bigger players like Sergio Miguez and Juan José Distefano.

With no place in the academy, he went to Dock Sud in 1995. Before that, he had a brief run through the La Rioja league. Already in 1998 he changed football for office work and after 2 years of playing for Deportivo Laferrere he began to work in the Office of Foreign Companies in the General Inspection of Justice.

However, a few years ago he played a couple of dates in the "Super 8" veteran tournament representing Racing. From that moment on, several people were excited about his return to the courts, which is why they created a group on Facebook to convince him to continue showing, at an amateur level, the talent that led him to fulfill his dream.

    Yes we have our Orbán!

Lucas Alfonso Orbán Alegre (born 3 February 1989) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left back or a central defender for Racing Club.

    River Plate
Born in Buenos Aires, Orbán graduated from local giants River Plate's youth system, and made his professional debut on 24 May 2009, starting in a 2–0 home win over Independiente.

    Tigre
On 12 August 2011, after being sparingly used by River, Orbán was loaned to Tigre for the season. He appeared regularly for the latter, and scored his first professional goal on 19 August 2013, but in a 2–3 loss against former club River.

    Bordeaux
On 31 July 2013 Orban signed a four-year deal with Ligue 1 side Girondins de Bordeaux. He made his debut in the competition on 13 September, starting in a 0–2 home loss against Paris Saint-Germain.

    Valencia
On 11 August 2014, Orbán signed a five-year deal with La Liga's Valencia CF. He made his debut in the competition on 23 August, coming on as a late substitute and scoring an equaliser in a 1–1 away draw against Sevilla FC.

On 31 January 2016, Valencia reached an agreement to loan Orbán to Levante UD until 30 June 2016.

    Genoa
On 31 August 2016, Orbán signed for Italian club Genoa.

    International career

On 13 November 2013, Orbán was called up to Argentina national football team by manager Alejandro Sabella, for the matches against Ecuador and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He made his international debut two days later, starting in a 0–0 draw. On March 28, 2015 he earned his 2nd cap in a 2-0 win over El Salvador.
