Question Which Saint Did You Choose for Confirmation?

For those of you who have been confirmed, who did you choose as your Patron Saint?
    I chose Saint Germaine Cousin.

I was not confirmed in the catholic church. But I was baptised in the orthodox church and I was told the orthodx baptism also does confirmation at the same time. And in the catholic church I go to Im acknowledged as baptised and confirmed. I can go to catholic mass, I can receive repentance and communion and did often as kid but also recently. I was in catholic school classes. I was at first communion in catholic church. I have contact to the priest in my town, he said "because of ecumeny with the orthodox church you are free to come to the catholic mass and celebrate in all feasts, receive repentance and communion". Thats good enough for me, Im kinda like a unionist I think. I wanted to convert to catholic church, they said first I need to step out from orthodox church and then I can register as catholic but I wouldnt be roman-catholic but unionist a greek-catholic. But a greek catholic has all the same rights a roman-catholic has even better a greek catholic or greek ukranian catholic or something like that can be priest and married a roman-catholic cant, so it has advantages. I didnt stepped out of the orthodox church though because my mum was sad, depressed and very against it also the orthodox church would get noticed if i did and maybe they would ask me why i did that and such and be shocked, then i would feel uncomfortable but the catholic priest said eventhough i didnt stepped out of the orthodox church i still can do all these things in catholic church. So now I have the banner of the greek-orthodox and the roman-catholic churches, as well as "christian".

Not that i follow it. But Macedonians have a patron saint of the family that is passed on from generation to generation. My Paternal patron saint (Slava) is Saint Paraskeva of the Balkans (Sveta Petka).

I haven't yet made up my mind whether or not this tradition of having a confirmation or patron saint is actually ok for Christians to practice.

Serbian-Orthodox do too and they call it "Slava" it is a family patron saint inherited from your paternal line, from father to son. And women when they marry accept the saint of the husband.

    Mine is St.Nicholas (Sveti Nikola)

I have his iconography at home in my living room

Not officially my Patron Saint like Nicholas. But I love him because he is the Saint of the Polic, Order and the armed forces and he is strong. I feel as if he is a protector of me as well, on my maternal side they celebrate St.Archangel Michael as Patron Saint. But your Patron Saint in orthodoxy is inherited paternally so I dont celebrate his feast day, my mum did as kid under her father but not anymore when she got married. But I still feel a connection here.
