Skiing is the quintessential winter pastime. But recently, the multi-billion dollar industry is in decline. The number of skiers is falling fast and the industry is scrambling to make up the difference. Is this going to be the end of the ski resort? Further reading:

Dying in the U.S, perhaps. Mainly because young people can't afford to go on holiday because they have neither a holiday or the money to spend on a holiday. Here in Europe, it's still a big item.

Iam not a fan of heights myself indeed. This could be called an exception. Never had any bad injuries, one time my shin got hurt by a fail but wasnt broken or anything .

I go skiiing every year in a different location throughout the Yurop and it always seems full.
Prices have risen in the last years of course but so have prices of everything else.

I have also noticed a rise of retarded snowboarders being retarded snowboarders all over the tracks.

According to the Swiss international ski expert Laurent Vanat, the Great Replacement is a major reason why ski is dying in Europe:

For Vanat, the problems facing the industry are largely cultural. He points out that many European cities have large immigrant populations who come from countries with no ski culture. “Most people learn from their parents. If parents don’t ski then neither will their children.”
