How do you like your salads?

my favourite salad is fattoush: cucumber, tomato, parsley, green onion, and mint, all diced, tossed with romaine lettuce and fried bits of pita. lemon juice + olive oil + sumac for the dressing. SO GOOD

I tried that once =) It's awesome.

Arugula and goats cheese go together really well, even with plums or caramelized onions. It's my usual starter at Italian restaurants with bruscetta ofc =]

I like that too, but I had fresh cabbage in mind. Like you shred cabbage, pour in some oil and vinegar, then adding some salt and maybe a little sugar.

We should introduce rules on what a salad is.

Salad Laws:
lettuce
tomatoes
cucumbers
a few croutons on top

And that's it, if you have too many croutons you're starting to enter what is known as sandwich territory.

I never met a salad I didn't like. I usually order a caesar, Greek, or southwest salad when out to dinner. At home, I make one with kidney beans, water chestnuts, mozzarella cheese, and a creamy caesar dressing.
