I am no native speaker either, but I pronounce it as "eesh" because I picked it up while listening to Rammstein's Til Lindemann's Berliner accent 21 years ago. I've abstained from the poll obviously.Originally Posted by LostSoul

No its pronounced as "eeh" or "ih"- eesh only in Saxon + Sw German dialect and people make fun of it.

I once had a discussion on one of these anthrofora about this song. A native German speaker once claimed that Til Lindemann is saying "eeK" here, but that is preposterous. He is clearly saying "eesh" which, as I understand it, is typical for a Berliner. I will die on this hill.
