Ah, "The city of Roses". No, I haven't been there. Most Norwegian don't venture much north unless it's for attending universities or do military service Have You been there and if so what did You think of the place?
So, it's okay for everyone to save money but not Jews? I am not cheap, but careful of how I use my money. Why squander?
As Ford pointed out it's a very protestant mindset if anything. I suppose You have heard the term "going Dutch". It applies to all Germanic countries.

Idk if it is true, probably not.
But being seriously, if you have God, Jesus and the Saint Spirit, you need nothing more

Are you living in Bergen or something? That is not so North ... Tromssa, Hammerfest starts to be North (for me).
Nope, but my dad visited there about 2 months ago ... one Swiss company has big malming plant there. They ordered some components from Swedish company my dad work on. He liked it. Mountains are very close. Needs to be pretty (green) place at spring time (after winter) .... influence of Atlantic Ocean. Aiport was very close to sea/water.

South of Bergen, more close to Stavanger. To me anything beyond Trondheim is "North".
Sounds like a nice place, glad to hear he had a good time. I got to see more of this country some day besides South-West and Oslo.
Well You have been in the real north of the country then, did You like it? They say people are a bit more open there on average.
And I've found most from that part of the country easygoing and straight forward to deal with.

North? Yes. I have been even here (end of Europe).
I like it. Not too much of people. I was hiking North last autumn with my 2 cousins from Sweden. Here.
The border of 3 countries:
We slept 2 nights in every country (tents). In Norway we met 2 (fishing/hunting) inspectors?. Polite men
(they were worried that we will be fine).

I wish he cyberflirted with Finnish Swede and then admitted the truth about his ethnicity.
