By the glory of Thy Name, O Christ, Son of the Living God, and through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, of Blessed James and of all Thy saints; be pleased to hear my prayer:

Do Thou aid and pity us, Thy unworthy servants, and be ever in our midst, O our God, Who livest and reignest forever.

O light and glory of Spain, o most holy Saint James, supporter of the oppressed, shelter of the traveler, thou the first crowned martyr amongst the Apostles to win the prize, o singular guardian; kind to thy people, hear the prayers of thy servants, and intercede for our salvation and for all. Amen.

Pray for us, o Saint James

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ

Let us pray,
Be to Thy people, o Lord, Sanctifier and Protector; that, having been fortified by the protection of Thy Apostle James, they may please Thee by their conduct and serve Thee with a peaceful mind. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
