Yes, and I haven't mentionned but many Europeans feel tied to Greece because of the cultural heritage from Greece.

In my case it's even stronger because I've likely some greek ancestors in my italian side...

    You missed something.

French are a people that have done everytime revolutions and revolts (outside of the French revolution that I dislike strongly), it is in our "DNA", so don't be so quick.

The problems that we have with Greece are political but culturally speaking we're very tied to them and we all know it. An attack on Greece would be the end of Turkey. The best thing the Turkish army can do at that point is to stage a coup d'etat in Ankara and shoot Erdogan before he knows what hit him - if they want to save Turkey from utterly annihilated. Pissing off two world powers AND the whole of Europe is suicidal at best.

    You retard still typing nonsense?
Russia was very happy to see Hagia Sophia being reopened as mosque.
Greek Orthodox Church is an ideological enemy for Russia. Russians see Greek church as a spiritual part of the geopolitical weapons used against Russia, a means to counter and destroy the Moscow Russian Orthodox Church.

As for China, the Turks actually turkified Central Asia when they were serving as commanders and soldiers in imperial Tang armies. Prior Turks were in Mongolia. The Chinese would try to leverage any possible crisis. Turkey has not fallen yet in trap to declare war on China over Uighur issue. Negotiating channels between Turks and Chinese are open. That's smart move by Turks.

Bullshit again. Russia cannot afford to see Greece occupied as Putin would face real problems at home then and likely face a coup d'etat from Russia's very conservative forces. The problem that Russia had with Istanbul was that the Turkish part of the Orthodox Church was so thoroughly taken over that it didn't matter anyway. And China ? They will not help you: helping you would mean a financial revenge from the West that would destroy the whole Chinese economy.

A very smart move by Turkish that will ends with Istanbul renamed Constantinopla, a free new Kurdish state, and the two shores of Dardanelos and Bosphorus straights controlled by Europeans again.

Maybe even Georgia will gain territory, and Turks living in Germany are sent back to Turkey.

The control of Bosphorus and Dardanelos straights could bring some worries to Russia, of course.

"Sent back to Turkey" There will be no Turkey, or Turks, after they pull that stunt.

I hope a "more little" Turkey could still exist after all this.

I need Turks to continue existing, because they are very specialized in hair grafts, and offer very competitive prices.

I also confess that I like to eat Durum and Kebab from time to time

Edit:I have not any problem with Turks themselves, but they are starting a dangerous game.

Maybe in Central Asia. There might be some left by the time we're done with them. An attack on Greece would create feelings in Europe not seen since World War II (or in small: since Yugoslavia). You can expect millions to enlist all over Europe. That peacetime division between us over money ? It will evaporate faster than water in the Sahara. It would be a god-sent for all those governments we hate so much if they know how to use it as it might well lead to a united Europe. A kind of Augusterlebnis on steroids. A military attack would be a bad idea.. but the moment they target civilians, the Turks will be absolutely fucked as Europe alone can call up many millions and can keep on fighting longing after the Turks have cracked.

I actually think the Turks should do it. They will be absolutely blown away (in the most literal sense of the word) by the response.
