The Muslims also have this concept (not saying that in an insulting way, just academic). Most Muslims believe they will go to hell, be purified then enter heaven.

For protestants a lot believe only a certain portion of even Christians will go to heaven as a lot are cultural Christians and not true believers.

Catholics believe that as well.

Depends on the denomination really, protestants outright reject original sin though across the board.

Interesting. Just to clarify, purgatory isn't hell. Catholics believe that if you go to hell, you aren't getting out.

true purgatory as far as i read up isnt suffering either like hell.

I know that at least some protestants do believe in original sin. I actually think that most do. I believe Orthodox do not.

From what I understand, Purgatory is kind of like a Limbo, is neither hell or heaven. For example some urban legends like ghost are believed to be in some kind of purgatory. Its more like a place where there is nothing, kind of like an in between like the earth is, it isnt rewarding like heaven is supposed to be but its neither torture like hell is, its like a neutral plain. I think the people that go to Purgatory are the ones that either have some things unresolved, or have be purified before entering heaven, some are either there bcs they dont deserve to either go to heaven or hell but their fate is to be decided. This is from what I have understood, but I am not sure if its the actual case.

I am Catholic for example, and I belive that everyone has a chance to go to heaven no matter your religion or what u believe in or dont believe in, if u were a genuinley good person and did your best, to me u get the pass to my heaven.

I always thought all christians believe in Original Sin. I was not aware that some do not believe it. I looked up on wikipedia and somehow all christians do believe in a version of it with differences. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_sin#Lutheranism

I should rephrase that, inherent sin; protestants don't believe children are sinful. But there is a concept of original sin within Protestantism but it differs in a lot core ways.
