    This kind of combination.

It just seems to be more an Irish look i.e. not Scandinavian, not Southern European or Eastern etc.
I think it is that general look of O'Neill that is very Irish, more than some one detail.

Yes. Just a general look that is more common in the Irish.

Double post. I think it is a combination that is specifically Irish. The people I've posted look Irish and I think they would be guessed as such. The player above is Paddy McBrearty and I don't think his look would be common in other European populations nor Roisin O'Neill's.

I think Maureen O'Hara has a lot to do with Irish women stereotypes i.e. the fiery Irish redhead.

Scarlett O'Hara tried to act all fiery too, despite having Rhett Buttler's bear claws wrapped around her puny and narrow skull.

But in the end all her war mongering and so called fieryness were much less like sparks from bonfire than just dust in the wind.

Little off topic. My grandmother's cousin was one of the most popular actresses in Finnish cinema of 30s, 40s and 50s. She started as playing the shrinking daisy types, but later transitioned to so called "character" roles and comedic roles ala in the vain of "Lucille Ball". In the 40s she became one of the first Finnish women to direct a movie, and later in life she had small role in a Hollywood film as Donald Pleasence's mother
That's pretty impressive having someone famous like that in your family tree. She was obviously an amazing woman. I'd be proud of her.
