    To be honest, these people could not pass in Courcelles-lès-Lens (a village that I know quite well) as natives, apart from certain individuals: they looks too Dutch / Flemish Belgian. Courcelles-lès-Lens or other villages elsewhere in Northern France.

    The isolation makes people have more local traits, so even though they have more or less similar genetics to neighbors in other villages in northern France, they might appear different.

    The man had 31 children, with his wife, his wife's sister and his neighbour.

    No wonder why he died at 58 years old out of exhaustion...
