Italians: do you understand French or Spanish more easily?

As a Native French speaker, I understand better Italian than Spanish

And among Spanish variants, I understand better Mexican Spanish than Spain Spanish which seems so fast and too much "th" sound, Mexican Spanish sounds clearer to my ears and slower, so easier to get

I'm not Italian, so I don't vote, of course, but one difference that strikes me right now is that in Italian there are far more words ending in a vowel (and it's pronounced), while in Spanish these are definitely a smaller amount percentage-wise.

I don't speak French.
