I've seen people here in Portugal perceiving northern europeans as emotionally cold since I was a kid. I think that's a bit of a dumb stereotype, since I've perceived Brits as not that cold emotionaly, specialy the women. Now for ethnic groups like Germans or Swedes that might be truth.

I sense that people from those type of countries (Germanic ones) tend to show a little bet less emotions and to be less loud than Southern/Mediterranean/Latin Americans.

I remember watching several interviews with the Mccann's and they rarely cried or had mental breakdowns for such a dramatic horror like having a daughter disappeared.

What about the Dutch ? According to G25 analysis and Eurogenes K36 analysis that is my closest genetic group even though I am American. I guess they are in between the British and Germans psychologically ?
