Turkey is pressuring the expired government of Libya GNA for gas exploration in Greece's EEZ

Nearly 95% of Greece's natural gas reserves are in South-West Crete and Western Greece not bordering with Turkey.



So this devious malevolant cuntry called Turkey decided to claim those reserves via Libya, by encouraging or rather blackmailing Libya (as Jerusalem Post recently revealed) to drill into Greece's EEZ by illegally granting licences to Turkish companies. Turkey argues that Crete being an island is not entitled to EEZ nor the right to extend it's waters to 12 miles as Turkey and every country in the world have done.

Not content with laying claim on Crete's riches, it is also after the natural gas in Western Greece. It has signed a military agreement with Albania and now has naval and air bases in Albania. Now they have agreed to station Turkish troops there. It also "forbids" Albania to accept any delimitazion of EEZ with Greece against all concepts of International law.

It has maliciously encircled Greece and essentially denies any legal rights to all islands. It wants to trap the Greek islands, which generate an important part of Greek GDP, within what it sees as Turkish territorial waters essentially cutting them off from the rest of Greece.

That way those islands will wither and die economically and it will be easier for Turkey tio annex them. Someone from Chios would have to go through Turkish waters to even fish somewhere west of Chios. The islands will become enclaves within a Turkish lake. A country that has no sovereign over a such huge archipelago such as the Greek islands (over 6000 of them all Greek) then it cancels itself out as a country.

Turkey has launched a campaign to “erase” Greece from the world map as a normal state. In other words, it is waging a peculiar totalitarian war against us. It wants to transform Greece into a country of limited sovereignty, a geopolitical ghost because it stands in its way to her neo-Ottoman delusions

Now EU countries are totally indifferent to what is going on. Germany is most concerned about its billion euros investments in Turkey. It is also being blackmailed by Turkey with the migration card. It has also no interest in seeing the East Med pipeline being completed as that would be bad news for the Nordstream pipeline and its relation with both Russia and the U.S.

Italy's oil company ENI is already exploiting the Libyan natural gas and sees positively a cooperation with Turkey, at the expense of Greece, even if that means Turkeyv grossly infringing upon the sovereign rights of Greece. Italy would gladly sacrifice Greece at the altar of its geopolitical goals as a new Ifigenia, and sees positively Greece becoming a geopolitical ghost and a satellite of Turkey.

Spain puts her economical interests above showing any kind of solidarity with Greece. They together with Italy, Malta, Bulgaria and Germany object any kind of eu sanctions to Turkey that will force Turkey to withdraw from Greek territorial waters. They'd rather see Greece and Turkey going to war.

Yet Greece has 100% right on its side and they need to keep face. So they pat Greece on the back and express their "sympathy" and empty "solidarity" to Greece but behind doors do everything to undermine it.

Fortunately Greece is not left at their mercy. It has one of the strongest army in Europe and Nato. We don't need their support but we have to expose their hypocrisy and remind them they also have obligations as members of a common bloc.

The only countries that really support Greece is France, Austria and Poland. France' interests are threatened in Libya, Africa and Greece by Turkey and Italy. It does not wish Turkey to become a region power tramping the rights of everyone.

It knows Greece will eventually prevail because it has international right on its side. It knows it is capable militarily. It knows the great potential of Greece and the potential to become filthy rich and a major geopolitical player. It knows the value of Crete and Cyprus who can act as fixed unsunkable aircraft carriers, allowing France to dominate over Libya, Africa and the Middle East. It knows that will be a game changer for both France and Greece. And both countries want to see a more French EU and Germany being contained.

Greece has also the support of nearly every Arab country including Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Eastern Libya, Jordan, Iraq and others. You see Turkey have been infringing upon their sovereignty and been looting their resources for decades now. Turkeys is hated by everyone because it does not play by the rules. It is the perfect example of a rogue state.

Israel too support Greece and has signed a defence cooperation with Greece. Of course Israel would never come to fight any war for Greece or vice versa, but it can help in other ways. Israel has one of the best Intelligent services in the world for example and can provide Greece with valuable information. Conversely Israel stands to gain immensely from being an ally of Greece.

Greece will prevail and will remember which countries supported her. Weasel Italians and the rest of the willing to please Turkey will eventually have to choose between France and Turkey. Weasel Italians always chose Turkey over Greece , without blinking an eyebat, but can they afford to chose France over Italy? Eventually they will have to suuccumb and recognize the greatness of France over their pathetic country. By tacitly supporting Turkey they are on the wrong side of history again.
