Gorid is just east Euro version of Alpine, it doesn't have lot of Baltid features to tell the truth apart from roundish features.
It's fine to say it's Alpine-Baltid intermediate but it's quite closer to Alpine. Baltid is very northern(NE) phenotype, Gorid isn't (it's east-central Euro)

these three types cover 99% of Romanians:

- AlpineMed
- DinaroMed
- DinaroAlpineMed


dolicho Meds are not common at all, Med is the basic type but always comes in mix with Alpine or Dinarid, as Romanians almost always have a short and flat back of the head.


by my observation in the north and northeast of the country:

- about 1/4 to 1/3 of the people have some type of olive skin, the rest have pale skin (yellowish), while rosy skin that doesn't not tan is present but in very small %
- there is surprisingly high % of light eyes (blue, gray, light green), maybe as high as 30% or so (in the Moldova and Bukovina regions I mean), while most people have brown eyes and some have black eyes, rather rare as well but present
- hair is dark brown on most, brown may be some under 10% of the people while blond maybe 1%

as a group Romanians are mostly undistinguishable from Bulgarians, Montenegrins and Macedonians, and overlap greatly with Albanians, then with Serbs

The national team is not a good idea of the general Romanian look, people should just check the club threads for a better idea, it shows Romanians in all their diversity.

I called out your crap and you're acting butthurt now.

Aspirin has posted tons of Moldovan groups where Baltid was extremely visible, I think groups of policemen or military and some medical students. Romania is definitely far from that level, but to say that Baltid does not exist in Romania is idiotic.

Look at these two Romanians, the woman is Pontid, the man is an extremely robust CMish Baltid. Does he pass as a Russian? No. Does it matter for the classification? No.
