They look like Bucharest people to me, of all shapes and sizes as expected from a capital. Most don't look out of place for Romania.

They are recognizably Romanian, but quite far from average in terms of looks.

They're definitely from poorer than average neighborhoods of Bucharest (if they are all from Bucharest).

They look Southern to me, not Eastern. But you're right about Romanians being more gracile

They look both southern and eastern at same time, does that make sense?
I mean, they generally look like they are from east part of southern Europe.
Or southern part of eastern europe, depends on persepective.

Yeah, surrounding Slavs and Hungarians are bigger and heavier built. Romania was country with least fat people I ever saw in my life.

Ever since I can recall you always must emphasize how people south or east of Croatia look more eastern or Balkan looking. IDK why, and not saying it's anything bad. I've just constantly noticed it.

Because they don't look very similar to Croats, not even to Serbs. Maybe you should have noticed I didn't say they look much darker (they aren't).
Facial features and stature are more different than pigmentation.

East and West Balkan (they you go, I said it ) are suprisingly different looking.

And genetically we are very far.

I find Albanians more familiar looking than Romanians tbh. Romanians are very nice looking people so there's that. They just look....different.
You won't find Seya lookalikes in western Balkans.

Moldovans from RM look visibly more familar though due to higher Slavic input, but mostly that applies to women and not men.
Moldovan men look too eastern to be familiar, but their women are very passable here (not Seya types though, but alpinids)

A lot of them are drunkards, junkies and some are gypsies, but you get the point. Out of the "normal" looking ones you can get an idea.
