How can you blame the EU when the EU wasn't even around at the time ?

European Economic Community exists from 1958, even before that Britain was the leading force followed by the France and Republican Spain.

Now Europe is swarmed by the migrants and everyone is fighting each other.

Of course Russia, USA, China (as a predators) will in the end strangle limping adversary (EU).

What does "Economic" mean ? State security is the preserve of national governments and of NATO. Those failed big time.

Because Europe never integrated properly. States became Rivals.

As you see, only unified forces (USA, China, Russia) do prosper. But divided "Unions" do not.

EU can't agree on basic things like budget, military, transfer of workforce etc..

Also NATO means nothing, it's peace of paper on which is said: If someone attacks you, I will help you, but let's get real:

You protect only those people with whom you have an interest to co-exist. Screw peace of paper.

Would you go down and die for Turks because of peace of paper? Of course you wouldn't.

People fight only for it's own kin, money and religion. The reason why France would protect Germany is: 1. Money 2. People (germanics) 3. Investments.

That's why NATO failed, cause USA and EU are two different worlds.

Serbia is abandoning it's slavic brothers Russians.

Just today Serbia has canceled military exercises with Russia and Belarus which triggered their brothers in Moscow.

They have also recognized elections in Belarus as a fraud.

Average Serb in Serbia doesn't know anymore who is friend and who is a foe.

Apparently sitting on two chairs at once is something mr. Trump won't allow.

Good. The Balkans should be solidly in the NATO camp, and Turkey should be booted out.

And let's be clear about this. EU offers no guarantees against the Russian aggression, that's why the whole Eastern Europe ended up behind the Iron Curtain. EU can eventually build a common military acquisition system that involves all EU countries, but a common army is impossible because Western countries are not willing to defend the East, hence why NATO is necessary in Eastern Europe.
