Pointless discussion ,it's like discussing who is closest to Brazilians ,other than Kurds admixed or not and to different extents there are like 6m Tataroid descendants,around the same number of Circassids ,around same+ with muslim Greeks from exchanges,Pontians ,Laz ,Albanian/Bosniaks,Arabs etc etc

Syrians and Lebanon have Negroid and Arabid which distinguish them, while Greeks have higher European and North African. Turks have Asian &Siberia which pull them toward north eastern direction.
Turks, Syrians and Greeks are biologically different from each other.

Bulgarian Turks are especially very distinct from Western Asians, Aegean, Levantine.

I don't care what percentage Islanders make up, the fact is that they're Greek, which Greeks underline whenever the dispute about the islands is brought up. I don't care that they've levantine admixture because they're still Greeks, aren't they? Many mainland Greeks also mixed with Slavs, Albanians or whatever people. Does this make them less Greek?

In addition, the sample Greek_Izmir is a mix of mainland Greeks and native Greeks from Izmir. And I'm still closer to this sample than Syrians

Besides if we're talking percentages,why do you ignore that I'm closer to appropriately 25% of Italy than nextdoor Syrians?
