I sent off an ancestrydna test 4 weeks ago, it’s been processing for 3 weeks.. if I ever get the results I’ll post them here!

From my paper trail it seems to me 23andme is the most accurate in my case and myheritage the least. The thing is I have a bunch of dead ends at 5th great grandparents and a lot of my ancestors came over at 6th-8th great grandparents. But most of the names in my tree are British/Irish and German. It seems in most cases the Germans came over a bit later. But I’m not really sure how to calculate what percentage of either I should be..

Can’t wait for the supposed new update for 23andme. Would love to see some of that broadly decrease!

Interested to know what ancestry is going to calculate Anyone have any guesses about what I’ll get?? lol I’m just going to guess they give me very little German.

Seriously, cool results, goes to show that your ancestry is mostly homogeneous I guess Did you know about the distant Sub-Saharan ancestry? Sometimes I wonder how many Americans could have had African-American ancestors, after seeing all of the 23andme results on Reddit and now yours as well.
