It depends of classification.

If Europe is dividing only in Eastern and Western, then Eastern Europe are all Slavic countries + Baltics + Hungary + Romania + Moldova + Albania + Greece.

If Europe is dividing in 5 regions, then Eastern Europe are only countries of ex SSSR in Europe.

BTW, Yugoslavia was never a member of Warsaw Pact.

About Albania ,if someone retired from a group is because previously he was in that group, and about Yugoslavia, I said that Warsaw pact is a good link, not that Yugoslavia was in the pact.

Yugoslavia maybe was not in the pact, but was "under" its influence or in its "orbit".

Spain was not in NATO till 1982 but was always under its influence.

But if you prefer, what someone else said, socialist systems or similar with other names.

I used to consider the 3 baltic states as eastern Europe as well, but after get bullied by some Estonians i dont

In spain greece is not seen as eastern europe

And most of Europe see Greece this way, which makes sense: you cant be grouped with Euro-med 7 (italy iberia cyprus france and malta) and being considered eastern Europe at the same time

A tiny percentage which will include finland and even austria in eastern Europe will consider Greece as Eastern European as well, but i have rarely seen this attitude
