I took a job at a warehouse, but I feel it's not for me. I come from the finest of families. I come from a long line of knights and cavaliers. I have a gift of song. I should be on the media or TV or something. I can't get those jobs now. This job seems it could be dangerous. I feel I am almost too old for it, it should be for naive 20 somethings who don't know what they are doing. I hope they don't work me too hard. Luckily the shifts aren't very long. I miss doing the cow at Chick Fil A. They shut it down because of the "pandemic".

Wrong...JosephK is correct. The best artists, best athletes, best writers, etc. all obscure. While people like Pablo Picasso etc are just controlled and propped and put there to express something the elite want expressing. what you dont understand is, if they're on TV, or the media in general they aint shit.The ones you think made it are also broke and owned. Actors, Artists, Musicians, Entertainment was always a lowly profession, from the days of prehistory till now.

You are making the assumption that the person in question is an actual artist. There are far more people who think they are producing art than those who actually are producing art. It is a variation of the "They all laughed at Einstein and Edison" argument. People who take being laughed at as a good sign that they are correct. Truth is one is more likely to be laughed at if they are just another crackpot than if they have discovered something that eventually turns out to be important.

Anyone who is 'too proud' to work at certain jobs, but chooses to collect government handouts instead is morally off course when it comes to humility.

Whether or not your 'Art' is secretly really good but just unappreciated still means you are not going to provide for yourself with your art.

You never took the initiative for a 'plan B' to hold you over until your art could support you. That is something you tend to forget about these artists discovered late in their lives actually did.

Your father's time as your main source of support is finite. Your excuses aren't going to cover you after it ends.

I quit! It took me 10 minutes. My sensory issues were bothering me but I was willing to tough it out. When I got to the break room they had a huge BLM sign on the wall, more like a mural.. That was it for me. I said all lives mater, I quit. Walked away. Its not worth the drive. I can do better!

RB always says 'he can do better' but he never actually does. Finally getting on food stamps but still refusing to lower himself to do certain jobs is not my idea of bettering oneself.
