I also wonder what this Balkan cluster actually is. Did they find a separate genetic signature from the Greeks which is also based on Thracian or Illyrian? Unlikely. Albanians tend to score lots of Greek as well, while Serbs score the highest rates of Balkan.
So it only makes sense to assume that Greek is mostly Palaeo-Balkan, while Balkan is a mix of that Greek cluster (Paleo-Balkan) along with some newly arrived Slavic admixture. So i.e. 60% Greek (Palaeo-Balkan) and 40% Slavic. This would mean that if you are only 20% Slavic and the remainder is mostly Palaeo-Balkan, then it will give you some 50 Balkan% (out of which is 60 % Palaeo-Balkan) and 50% Greek (mostly Palaeo-Balkan). But in reality you are 80% Palaeo-Balkan and 20 Slavic.
So if you as a Serb score 19% Greek as you argued, it would mean that you have less Slavic admixture, and more palaeo-Balkan admixture than the average Slavic speaking Balkanian. So the algorithm gives you 19% Greek.
Now, what is Palaeo-Balkan. For a Greek it could be mostly Greek, while for a Serb it could be mostly Thraco-Illyrian.
